In Pet Emergencies, Get to the Vet ASAP!

The outcome of many injuries can be much improved if proper care is given while on the way to the veterinary hospital. Call your vet right away if you’re not sure. Also, be sure you have the phone number of a 24 hour vet service, or get a recommendation from your vet in case the emergency happens during off hours.

In certain cases, such as heat stroke, uncontrolled hemorrhage, and choking, minutes count so do not waste precious time treating your animal. Go directly to the hospital.
